Lady Gaga Most Popular Living Person on Facebook

"Fame" singer celebrates 10 million fans on social networking site

Lady Gaga is now more liked than President Obama -- but not as popular as poker.

The “Poker Face” singer surpassed the president Friday as the most popular living person on Facebook, with more than 10 million people clicking the “like” button on her fan page, USA Today reported.

Obama, by comparison, boasted nearly 9.58 million fans on his Democratic National Committee-run Facebook page as of Friday evening.

Only pages for Texas Hold 'em Poker (20 million), Michael Jackson (14.39 million), the game Mafia Wars (12.78 million), “Family Guy”(10.3 million), and Facebook itself (10.97 million) are more popular.

“I love you guys so much,” Gaga said in a special Facebook video to fans posted from the road after hitting the 10 million mark.

Earlier this week, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, topped a list of newcomers to Forbes magazine’s list of the 100 most powerful celebrities.

Forbes estimated Gaga’s income from June 2009 to June 2010 at $62 million, and ranked the performer No. 1 on the magazine’s list for web hits and social networking prowess.
