Kim Kardashian may have finally found happiness with new boyfriend Kanye West.
In the second part of her interview with Oprah Winfrey, which airs this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on OWN, the brunette bombshell gushes about her new relationship with the outspoken rapper, People reported.
"It's very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands, has gone through the similar things," she told Oprah. "I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there's so many similarities in our life that ... I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space."
The couple has been friends for several years, though the romance did not spark until recently.
"I don't know why it took so long for us to get together," Kardashian said, "but I think I needed to go through all my experiences."
In the first part of the interview, which aired last week, Kardashian, 31, spoke about her brief marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries. She received widespread criticism when the two divorced after 72 days of marriage and told Oprah the wedding was not a PR stunt. In part two, she reveals that their age difference – Humphries is 27 – may have had something to do with the break up, E! News reported. Thirty-five-year-old West, she said, is a welcome change.
"I feel like I've had an epiphany," she said. "A lot of my friends, people that I love to just sit and talk to and spend time with, are wiser and a little bit older than me. Before, all my boyfriends were younger. I always dated five years younger. My whole thing was completely different."
During a clip of the interview, Oprah asked Kardashian, “Is Kanye West the new fairy tale?” Her answer will be revealed on Sunday.
