Hollywood's “Burglar Bunch” Indicted

Ring stole millions from Hilton, Bloom, Fox and others, say prosecutors

A gang of five suspected thieves known as the Hollywood "Burglar Bunch" for allegedly breaking into the homes of  stars such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox and stealing millions worth of items has been indicted on conspiracy charges.

The indictment of the group, including suspected mastermind Nicholas Prugo, alleges members prepared detailed floor plans, including the location of security cameras. The group may go on trial by November.

An investigator previously told The Associated Press the value of the unrecovered property may be as much as $2 million.

The burglary ring targeted young celebrities with homes in the Hollywood Hills between October 2008 and August 2009, according to authorities. Charged with Prugo were Rachel Lee, Courtney Lee Ames, Roy Lopez Jr. and Diana Tamayo. All pleaded not guilty at Friday's hearing.
