In her most recent GOOP newsletter, posted on her Web site of the same name, Gwyneth answered a question from a fan — "What does it take to sustain a happy and successful relationship or marriage?"

According to the mother of two, who married Coldplay's Chris Martin in December 2003, a "long-term relationship between two people is an ever evolving organism."

Beyond Gwyneth's own observation, she enlisted some experts with relationship advice.

Monica Berg, a spiritual teacher and guide, chimed in that couples should "consciously focus on the good in one another." Additionally she suggested they "Cherish small moments of intimacy and laughter"; "be vulnerable with one another" and repair things after a fight.

Another expert Gwyneth brought in to offer help was Dr. Karen Binder-Brynes, a psychologist, who recommended that "trust is essential" and a relationship or marriage "should be a safe harbor in life's ocean."
