Fries with that Shayk? New “Sports Illustrated” Swimsuit Cover Model Revealed

Russian-born beauty Irina Shayk has been in every "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issue since 2007. But she's never been on the cover until now.

Placement on the cover of the iconic issue is seen as nothing short of a star maker. Irina joins a prestigious list that includes more-than-just-models Christie Brinkley, Tyra Banks, and Heidi Klum.

In fact, last year's cover model, Brooklyn Decker, is fresh off starring in this past weekend's box office champ "Just Go With It" alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.

Irina has been linked with international soccer superstar Cristiano Renaldo after the two appeared in ads together for Armani Exchange.

Irina can also add another feather to her cap: She is the first Russian model ever to grace the signature "SI" cover.

"Sports Illustrated" announced Irina during the "Top Ten List" segment on last night's "Late Show with David Letterman." Irina told Fox News she had no idea she was #1 until the list was read.

"There were ten models there to do the Top 10 List, and nobody knows until the last minute who the cover will be," Shayk said. "And then I saw it, and I couldn't believe it."
