E-Trade Takes on Lindsay Lohan Over “Milk-Aholic” Lawsuit

E-Trade isn't playing when it comes to a privacy lawsuit filed by Lindsay Lohan over their "milk-aholic" baby, who has the same name as the actress.

According to the NY Post, lawyers for E-Trade have filed a host of pages in Nassau County Supreme Court in New York related to Lohan's 2010 $100 million lawsuit. Her lawsuit claims the company used "likeness of the plaintiff's name, characterization, and personality," and that the ads "are causing injury" to the actress.

The newly filed pages from E-Trade reportedly include information about the actress' headline-making drug troubles, fights and DWI arrests. The Post also reports that the papers quote a host of postings from commentators online, which slam the actress. One online poster allegedly wrote, Lohan is "a pot-stirring, lazy, irresponsible, disrespectful little drama queen."

Rather than try to establish that Lohan's reputation was already damaged before the commercial, E-Trade is using the information in an attempt to prove the actress is actually based in California, and not where she filed the suit, the NY Post reported.

The financial firm is reportedly trying to get the lawsuit moved to New York City, where they are located.

Lohan's lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, told the paper they would fight the venue change and motion to dismiss papers.

E-Trade's lawyer declined the Post's request for comment.
