Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King – the slain mother, brother and nephew of Jennifer Hudson – will be remembered at a public memorial celebration on Sunday in Chicago, Access Hollywood has learned.

“The Hudson family welcomes anyone who wishes to attend and pay their respects to these three beloved members of the Chicago community,” a rep for the star said in a statement to Access.

The event will be held at the Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist Church in Chicago, with a private service from 3 PM to 4 PM and doors open to the public from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Neither Jennifer nor sister Julia, the mother of Julian, will be in attendance, the rep noted.

Darnell and Jason were discovered shot to death on Friday, Oct. 24, while 7-year-old Julian went missing. His body was discovered on Monday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, on Friday, a source confirmed to the Chicago Tribune that all three were killed with the same weapon, a .45 caliber semiautomatic recovered a block from where Julian’s body was found.

Julian’s stepfather, William Balfour, remains a person of interest in the case and continues to be held by authorities on a parole violation, though he has not been charged in connection with the murders.
