A Guinness Record Right on the Marx

Moshpix: The Chicago Outdoor Film Festival attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the most people wearing Groucho Marx glasses on Tuesday. The attempt was made at the screening of Duck Soup in Grant Park. The current record was 4,077, during an event in Springfield, Missouri. Participants were asked to register and free plastic glasses with a nose attached were given away. Around 7,000 glasses were given away, so city officials believe the record was broken, but it still needs to be certified by Guinness.
