It's that time of year again when students and parents gear up for the new school year.
In celebration of education, NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago will host the annual "Back to School Supply Drive." The drive will take place Aug. 22 in the Walgreens parking lot on Canal and Roosevelt from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
To support the drive, NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago will collect donated school supplies from Aug. 10-22. The supplies will be donated to CPS students in need this school season. Suggested items include pencils, pens, folders, notebooks, loose-leaf paper, hand sanitizer and folders.
