This year, over 500 wish kids and their families will travel for a Make-A-Wish experience.
NBC 5 Chicago partnered with Make-A-Wish Illinois to host the “Miles for Smiles” telethon Wednesday, March 18th on NBC 5 Chicago.
Viewers donated their frequent flier miles to offset air travel expenses exclusively for wish kids and their families.
Nearly 6 million unused airline miles came in to send kids with life-threatening medical conditions on the trip of their dreams with their familes!
