Welcome to the 2008 Travel Expo!-

Thoughts of a vacation in a tough economy can be quickly squelched by fears of how much it could cost.  But from "staycations" to traditional getaways, experts will tell you there are deals to be had, if you know where to look.

The NBC 5 Travel Expo is a free event this weekend designed to give you ideas and let you in on some insider travel deals, so you can get away from the daily grind without breaking the bank.  Vendors will be side-by-side with cultural events to give you a taste of what you'll find at lots of destinations like Mexico, Peru, Polynesia, Europe, Argentina and more.

Here's the complete event schedule of what's happening at the 2008 NBC 5 Travel Expo, presented by AAA Travel Agency this weekend at Navy Pier in Festival Hall A.  For more about the event and to download a map to see who'll be there, click this link.
