    ILLINOIS

    Art Institute of Chicago Chicago, Illinois
    Trip Advisor named The Art Institute of Chicago the no. 1 museum in the entire world for 2014 – and that many reviews can’t be wrong. Founded as both a museum and school for the fine arts in 1879, the institute dedicated itself to rebuilding the city that was destroyed by the Great Fire of 1871. Since then they have built an iconic work of art from textiles to installations and contemporary design. Their rotating exhibitions push the envelope in the art world.     The Field Museum Chicago, Illinois
    The Field Museum covers 300,000 square feet making it one of the largest natural history museums in the world, attracting nearly two million visitors per year for their wide range of Egyptian displays, galleries and ancient artifacts.     The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Indianapolis, Indiana

    Indianapolis Zoo Indianapolis, Indiana

    College Football Hall of Fame South Bend, Indiana

    Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum Cleveland, Ohio
