Embattled Superintendent of schools Ron Huberman might find a glimmer of hope in news from Whitney Young Magnet High School.
Ron Huberman's heart isn't in the job and he's likely to leave before January, according to a City Hall source.
Huberman, who was outed today by a Sun-Times report, has been looking for a job for quite some time, according to the source. A factor in his decision: union criticism, plus his recent loss in the courts when he attempted to downsize teachers.
Huberman doesn't want to appear as if he's giving up. "But ask the folks at CPS, he's already gone," says our source.
Mayor Daley, meanwhile, is reportedly livid at the prospect of Huberman leaving.
