Del Valle First to Air Mayoral Campaign Ad

While many are still deciding whether or not to run in Chicago's next mayoral election, city clerk Miguel Del Valle is already out of the gate with an ad campaign.

Del Valle was the first elected official to declare his candidacy for mayor.

In his ad, Del Valle introduces himself to voters and pledges to be a mayor "for all of Chicago."  He specifically mentions education, crime and unemployment as issues on which he'd like to focus.

Mayor Richard Daley announced Sept. 7 that he wouldn't seek a seventh term as the city's chief executive.  Voters head to the polls in February.
