In case you hadn't heard, this blog, Ward Room, recently got some love on the awards circuit.
The Online News Association, which is run by the Gannett Foundation and the Knight Foundation, honored the NBCChicago.com politics blog with an excellence award for Online Topical Reporting/Blogging for a medium sized site.
We're not shy about tooting our own horn, so we would like you to know we're currently celebrating in the Ward Room offices with expensive champagne and caviar on toast points.
