The Buzz: Kifowit is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and alderman for the Third Ward in Aurora. She decided to run because of the lack of fiscal responsibility she perceived among the politicians in her district. Kifowit plans to use her experience as a registered financial advisor to address the state's budget issue.
