Former Illinois Governor Rod R. Blagojevich is currently serving a 14-year prison term following his convictions in 2010 and 2011 on 18 counts of corruption, including his attempt to trade the appointment of Senator in exchange for $1.5 million in campaign contributions and other personal benefits.
