The Buzz: Patricia "Pat" Mahon was born and raised in Chicago. The State Senate candidate spent her childhood between the Robert Taylor Homes and West Pullman on the South Side of Chicago. She has since lived in South Holland for 21 years, where she is currently an attorney and works as Deputy Village Administrator. If elected, she plans to focus on the issues involving economic development, transportation and education.
