The Buzz: Though she has no prior political experience, Kari K. Steele has more than 11 years of experience working as a chemist. She previously worked for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District as a water sampler and lab tech and at the Jardine Water Filtration Plant as a water chemist. She says she understands the importance of conserving our natural resources and believes that the organization could be more productive in doing so by utilizing updated methods and greener technologies.
