The Buzz: Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant identifies education, job creation and the budget as some of her priorities for her campaign.
Bertino-Tarrant has worked as a teacher and administrator in several schools and currently serves as Will County Regional superintendent of schools. She supports early childhood learning programs and wants to ensure schools appropriately prepare students for college.
Bertino also believes small businesses help provide jobs. She has worked for her family's business, which has been open since 1976.
