The Buzz: Burleson worked as a mechanic, shop foreman and service adviser in one of the largest auto repair chains. He then worked as a carpenter, framer and crew foreman in a small construction company. He decided to run because he said he's frustrated at the worsening conditions of his district.
He supports tax incentives to businesses both large and small and believes the problem with the educational system is not the state, but the parents.
