The men and women who will decide Rod Blagojevich's fate have been selected, instructed and sent off to decide the fate of the former governor of Illinoi..

Their identities will not be released, but their demographic make-up is available. 

 

Blagojevich final jury:

6 men. 6 women.

2 black women. 1 black male. 1 Asian. 4 of the 5 alternates are women, which is significant because those women of course COULD have made it to the actual jury which would have skewed it heavily female.

The alternates will be taken to the judge's chamber and will be instructed not to talk and not to read or watch the news. In other words, they are to think of themselves as jurors until the verdict.
