The Buzz: Jackson has served as representative in the 114th district since 2009. He is a former high school science teacher and middle school and elementary school principal. He recently worked on the Parsons Place Project which was the first major development of affordable, single-family homes in over three decades. Jackson has worked on legislation concerning affordable housing, jobs and education.
Jackson is the chairperson for the Armed Forces & Military Affairs committee as well as vice chairperson on the consumer protection committee.
