The Buzz: Kay has served as representative in the 112th District since 2010. He was the former finance chairman for Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Karmeier, has been a member of the Illinois Chamber's Employment Law Counsel and served as the campaign chairman for Illinois Appellate Court Justice Stephen McGlynn.
Kay considers the number one issue in Illinois to be jobs and allowing for growth in business. He supports the repeal of the tax hike, is pro-life and supports gun rights. He said he stuck to his pledge to cut his pay by 10 percent and refuse taxpayer funded pension.
