    President Barack Obama announced Thursday that he will nominate Chicago business executive Penny Pritzker for Commerce Secretary.

    U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin says President Barack Obama's nominee for Secretary of Commerce is an excellent choice to head the federal agency.

    Durbin announced Tuesday his support for Penny Pritzker after meeting with her to discuss her nomination.
