    The Buzz: This Louisiana native has multiple degrees including a CPA license, MBA from DePaul, and J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.While earning her law degree, Brown worked for the CTA as the general auditor.
    Brown has served as Cook County Circuit Court Clerk since 2000. She ran for mayor in 2007 and for Cook County Board President in 2010.

    Recently she has encountered questions about whether she provided contract to a campaign contributor.
