Sen. Dick Durbin today said that he, too, has been subpoenaed to testify at former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's corruption trial.

The news comes a day after Blagojevich's defense team requested to subpoena President Barack Obama. Redcated portions of that document were released, apparently by accident.

Durbin revealed his subpoena after speaking on Wall Street reform, where he stridently defended Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias from accusations of financial impropriety.

"This is not just broadway Bank," Durbin said, referring to "a sad economy" that's affected community banks across the nation.

Asked how Giannoulias was faring, Durbin said "he's moving in the right direction."

Sen. Durbin is Giannoulias' campaign chairman. The FDIC is widely expected to shutter Broadway Bank today.
