Vice President Joe Biden could have a nice surprise waiting for him when his wife returns home.
Jill Biden, who was in town to give a keynote address to the Points of Light National Conference on Service and Volunteering, was spotted going into the high-end Michigan Avenue La Perla lingerie store Monday with Secret Service agents and Chicago Police officers keeping a watchful eye.
Washington Times reporter and political wannabe William Kelly -- who has a history of irking public officials and other reporters -- took an iPhone video of Biden coming out of the store, and later tried to quiz the sales people about the specifics of any purchases.
Kelly, and other conservative blogs, are critical of the shopping trip because CPD officers were used.
