Park City aldermen are taking a 8.3% cut in their $400 monthly stipend to stress the point that the city is in a financial bind. They apparently took the cue from Gov. Quinn., who'd already shown his support for cost-cutting by reading half of his speeches off crumpled legal pad paper.
