With the 2014 race season just around the corner, if you're looking to join a training program, you might want to start thinking about it sooner rather than later.
One option is spring training with Chicago Endurance Sports (CES), which boasts a twelve-week program at all three Fleet Feet Sports locations in Chicago. Benefits include a daily customizable schedule, 20 coaches available at all times via email to answer questions, twice weekly group runs, newsletters and expert advice, and plenty of exclusive gear, promotions, samples, and seminars.
CES is hosting a free open house at each training location, February 22 at the Old Town store (1620 N. Wells), February 23 at the Lincoln Square store (4762 N. Lincoln Ave) and MArch 1 at the South Loop Fleet Feet (150 W. Roosevelt).
Registration for the entire program is $179 for new members, $159 for alumni, but if you'd like to include your Soldier Field 10 Mile Race (the culminating training event with program-exclusive amenities on May 24th) registration, the fee is $249 total for newbies.
