Tracy Morgan Returns to “Scare Tactics” with an Upgrade

In real news that sounds like an plot line for "30 Rock," Tracy Morgan will return to host another season of Syfy's "Scare Tactics." He will also assume the glorious title of executive producer for the show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the NBC-owned channel is bringing back the hidden camera show for a new season this fall.

It's good news for slapstick fans with this cult hit which brought the Internet one of the best modern hidden camera capers ever -- the saga of the PETA activist and the rat monster. There are times on that show where you think someone is going to have a heart attack. That's a good thing.

And with the fading memory of his dreadful "Cop Out," Morgan is always good for a belly laugh.

"Scare Tactics" is part of the Syfy channels reality show boost which includes two new freaky series. These include "Paranormal Investigators," about a ghost-busting team that travels around the world uncovering the truth behind the supernatural claims, and "Mary Knows Best" a docusoap about a Long Island psychic.
