Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you stay at home and remain in mourning for Leslie Nielsen. It’s the same old story. Boy becomes dramatic actor. Boy grows old. Boy finds niche as deadpan comedic actor. Oh, how we will miss him. LET’S GO!

ROCKEFELLER CENTER CHRISTMAS – 8:00PM (NBC) Just NBC as they spend 60 minutes milking the throwing of a light switch. Scheduled to perform are Susan Boyle, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, Kylie Minogue, and more. At least they won’t be covering “The Living Years.” ANTICIPATION: CHRISTMASSY!

RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER – 8:00PM (CBS) HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS – 8:00PM (ABC) Will you look at that? The two holiday classics have been scheduled directly opposite one another to compete for your ratings dollar. That is so sad. Sure, everyone probably has both these specials on DVD by now. Or they have a DVR and can easily tape one while watching the other. But it’s the principle of it, doggone it! These two specials should NEVER be pitted against one another. It’s a disgrace. Surely, Santa Claus is weeping in his big fake white beard as we speak. I know Yukon Cornelius taught us all fantastic lessons about the glories of capitalism, but this is going too far! ANTICIPATION: GRINCHY!

THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW – 10:00PM (CBS) CBS’ annual attempt to give your grandfather a heart attack is back, this time with models parading around 80% naked on the runway, spiced up with musical performances from Akon and Katy Perry. Even odds say Perry herself will don one of Victoria’s little numbers. And if that happens, expect to see many a head asplodin’. ANTICIPATION: SEXY!

STRANGE DAYS WITH BOB SAGET – 10:00PM (A&E) This new A&E show features the old “Full House” star and erstwhile filthy joke teller exploring American subcultures. Tonight, he travels with a motorcycle club. Be there next week when Bob tackles the strangest subculture of them all: Bob Saget Devotees. ANTICIPATION: SAGET!

GLEE – 8:00PM (FOX) Read tonight’s list of covers and shudder: “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina,” “The Living Years” (yep, the dead father song), “Hey Soul Sister,” “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life,” and “Valerie.” A playlist surely arranged by Satan himself. ANTICIPATION: TERROR!
