Thursday Watch List: Stop Sending Rich Women Abroad

Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you set Vancouver on fire. Who knew Canadians could get so worked up about something? AWESOME! LET’S GO!

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK CITY – 10:00PM (Bravo – an NBC Universal network) The gals spend their final nights in Morocco and reminisce about the fabulous time they had. And someone at Bravo needs to explain why on Earth they’d follow the story template of “Sex and the City 2”. Are they aware that everyone hated that movie? Are they aware that it set womanhood back a solid three decades? Because it did, so please don’t send spoiled, materialistic American women to the Casbah again. It makes people really angry. ANTICIPATION: I HEARD THEY BOUGHT A LOVELY TEA SET!

LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN – 11:30PM (CBS) Samuel L. Jackson pops by, and I have to think that Dave will have him do a snippet from his recent narration of Adam Mansbach’s ”Go The F To Sleep.” And I have to say, I was oddly let down by Jackson’s narration. Could he be losing his f-bomb edge? Does he only swear best when surrounded by plastic snakes? So many questions. ANTICIPATION: FUNNY!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – 8:00PM (FOX) The final 67 contestants get whittled down to a more manageable 66, or something like that. It’s a long summer, people. Also, stick around for a live performance by Jessie J. I still don’t know who that is, but I assume with she’s big with the kids. You kids don’t know what REAL music sounds like, by gar! ANTICIPATION: TANGO!

BOXING GYM – 9:00PM (PBS) This generically titled PBS doc takes a look at Lord’s Gym in Austin, where kids try to get off the streets by becoming million-dollar prizefighters. As you might have guessed, not all of them are successful. ANTICIPATION: SAD!

ALONG CAME POLLY – 9:00PM (ABC Family) It’s a really, really slow night on TV. Check out this movie and realize just how long people have been paying Jennifer Aniston to make unwatchable romantic comedies. How does she keep it up? ANTICIPATION: ALEC BALDWIN IS IN THIS! I SWEAR!
