Kendra Wilkinsons ready for her (non-naked) close-up.
Wilkinson, formerly one-third of Hugh Hefner’s troika of blonde “Girls Next Door” gal pals and current star of her own E! reality series “Kendra,” graces the cover of the men’s magazine’s December issue and a steamy nude pictorial inside, but she reminded us that the photos were taken before she told her NFL star husband Hank Baskett he’s the only one who’d be seeing her naked for the foreseeable future.
“I'm very happy and very honored to be on the cover from the old pictures,” Wilkinson told Popcorn Biz while greeting fans at a promotion the body-toning supplement Abdominal Cuts in Santa Monica, adding that Baskett was thrilled with the layout. “He was like, 'I'm so proud of you! It looks so good!’ – even though that's so long ago.”
The cover girl’s not saying no to au natural shots forever (Hef remains one of her close friend and mentor). “I can't lock the door on that yet, but I'm saying no to that now because I'm where I need to be in my life. It's not the time in my life right now to do it. It's just something that doesn't fit in right now.”
Wilkinson’s been open about her weight struggles since becoming a mother a year ago, but said she’s closer than ever to her Playboy-era curves. “I can't say that I'm officially back, but I'm getting there,” she laughed. “And let me tell you: it's been hard! These past twelve months it's been very difficult for me to lose the weight, and finally these last two months it's been kicking back into gear.” She credited Ab Cuts for put her metabolism back on toning track without the shakiness associated with similar supplements.
Now that she’s got her body-confidence back she says she’ll be showing off at least a little skin again. “I've been doing a couple of photo shoots, but not Playboy. You'll be seeing them pretty soon – and my bikini body.”
