Director Michel Gondry's new film, "The We & the I," will kick off the 2012 Director's Fortnight during the Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to the impressive slate of films in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, the town in southern France will once again host the Director's Fortnight, started in 1968 "to aid filmmakers and contribute to their discovery by the critics and audiences alike."
