A First Look at Affleck & McAdams in Terrence Malick's Other Film

We are on the cusp of an unprecedented event in cinematic history: Terrence Malick films being released in consecutive years. And that photo of Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams is the proof--well, half of it, anyway.

Malick, who recently released the mesmerizing/jaw-dropping/gorgeous trailer for "Tree of Life," has now let slip a still from his next, as yet untitled film, starring Affleck and McAdams.

The film, which is believed to be a love story, also reportedly stars Javier Bardem, Rachel Weisz, Amanda Peet, Barry Pepper, Olga Kurylenko and Jessica Chastain.

Malick's relationship with Affleck is decades-long, as the director was friends with the actor's godfather. In fact, it was Malick who helped plot the end of "Good Will Hunting," the film Affleck co-wrote with Matt Damon.

So we've got "Tree of Life," starring Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain and Sean Penn, coming May 27, and this untitled romance some time in 2012. It took Malick 32 years to release his first four films, and now the guy is suddenly a factory.
