Tips of the Trade: Farmhouse Modern

Interior designer Angela Stone gives us tips on how you can create a unique look that she coined "Farmhouse Modern." She describes her aesthetic as a style that combines the character of old with the simplicity of new. The "Farmhouse" aspect relates to pieces that are storied, worn and natural like an English kitchen table made of barn wood, in which the nails have been pulled out, but its modest origin is intentionally exposed. Stone believes that there is great beauty in allowing things to age naturally.

The home is an LED certified home and left vacant for those wishing to visualize their personal belongings in its space. Michael discusses tips for those looking to invest in furnishing their vacant properties, which Michael says may lead to a quicker close. View the listing.
