Whether meticulously organized or jam packed with clothing, the closet is usually a design afterthought. But according to Elle Décor, the wardrobe becomes a glamorous retreat for famous folks like Bally creative director Brian Atwood, Oprah-anointed interior designer Nate Berkus and fashion designer Nanette Lepore. The latter’s enormous walk-in evokes Old World glamour with a mirrored chest, velvet ottoman and a framed Ingres-style nude, which presumably makes the arduous process of getting dressed much more of a pleasant experience.
