Baun, Glass Placed on Waivers by Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly made two more roster moves on Friday as they continue to put together their lineup for the 2017-18 season.

According to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the Blackhawks have placed forward Kyle Baun and goaltender Jeff Glass on waivers.

Baun, who has appeared in five NHL games, will likely be sent back to the Rockford IceHogs if he clears waivers. Baun scored 14 goals and dished out 20 assists in 74 games for the IceHogs last season, and he’ll be hoping to earn a call-up back to the NHL if he gets sent down.

Glass was briefly called up to back-up Scott Darling last season while Corey Crawford was out of the lineup, but never made it into a game. He posted an 8-10-0 record with a 2.63 goals against average and a .914 save percentage in 20 games with Rockford last season after being acquired from the Toronto Maple Leafs’ organization.
