USA Hockey Unveils 2014 Olympic Jerseys

No matter how the men's USA hockey team performs in the Winter Olympics next year, they'll look good doing it.

USA Hockey unveiled the home and away jerseys for the team on Tuesday.

The Nike jerseys are meant to "reflect the '80s aesthetic" with an enlarged crest, bold striping and stars on the shoulders. It doesn't hurt that the last time the US team won Olympic gold was the famous 1980 team.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane is expected to be the face and focal point of the team, with two Stanley Cup championships and a Conn Smythe Trophy already on his resume in his young career.

Hawks players Brandon Saad and Nick Leddy are also trying out for the team, but aren't considered locks.

Nearly 50 players are meeting this week near Washington D.C. for the U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team’s orientation camp.
