Jonathan Toews #19 of the Chicago Blackhawks celebrates by hoisting the Stanley Cup after defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 2-0 in Game Six to win the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Final at the United Center on June 15, 2015 in Chicago, Illinois.

The NHL season begins in just 49 days when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the New York Rangers at the United Center, and fantasy hockey enthusiasts are eagerly preparing for the start of the new year.

With that in mind, Yahoo! Sports unveiled their new ranking of the top 100 fantasy hockey players this evening, and the Blackhawks were well-represented on the list. Patrick Kane headlined the group of Hawks players by checking in at number 10 on the list, and Jonathan Toews was close behind him at 17th.

The Blackhawks also placed goaltender Corey Crawford (46) and defneseman Duncan Keith (50) on the list, and Marian Hossa barely snuck onto the list by ranking as the 100th-best fantasy player in the rankings.

Several former Blackhawks were also included on the list, as Patrick Sharp (85) and Brandon Saad (97) were included in the rankings.

The top five players on the list were hardly a surprise, as Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Steven Stamkos, John Tavares, and Tyler Seguin comprise that elite group.
