In Monday’s edition of Hawks Headlines, we take a look at what Bryan Bickell is trying to do to improve his fortunes in the early going this season, as well as where the Chicago Blackhawks stand after their fifth game of the season.

- The Blackhawks have played five games so far this season, and all but one of them have been decided by one goal. They are 3-1-1, but they would prefer to start getting victories in a bit easier of a fashion, as Tracey Myers reports. [CSN Chicago]

- There have been some paranoid rumblings among some Hawks fans that Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula may be able to fling a giant bag of money at Patrick Kane to play for his hometown team when his contract expires after next season, but according to Tim Sassone, even Kane’s friends are coming around, and are rooting for the Hawks.
