We’ll also have random videos and stories from around the web, so if you’re ever wanting to get your Hawks fix, you have to look no further than right here.

  • After several of their free agent signings this offseason, the Blackhawks have been withholding salary figures for the players involved. Marcus Kruger was no exception, with his two-year deal being announced Friday without the financial details. Sunday, the information finally came out, with Kruger slotted to make $1.325 million per season. [CapGeek]

  • Speaking of contractual news for the Hawks, head coach Joel Quenneville and GM Stan Bowman are hoping to work out a contract extension before training camp. Quenneville is heading into the last year of his four-year deal that he signed after the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2010. Needless to say, he should expect a nice pay raise with this one. • Marian Hossa, who suffered a back injury during the Hawks' Cup run, will not have surgery on his back and will instead opt for rest. [ESPN Chicago]

  • King City, Ontario, got a special visitor over the weekend, as Daniel Carcillo brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown. It isn't clear yet whether or not Carcillo's name will be engraved on the chalice, but the pictures and videos are still pretty cool from his Cup day. [CSN Chicago]
