Depressed about a horrific Bears loss and looking for some Christmas cheer? Then this edition of Hawks Headlines, which features the Chicago Blackhawks’ official Christmas video, as well as a Blackhawks-themed Christmas carol is right up your alley.

-The Blackhawks will take on the New Jersey Devils on Monday night in their final game before their three-day Christmas break. Even though the Devils are struggling in the standings, the Hawks are bound and determined not to overlook their opponent. [CSN Chicago]

-Bryan Bickell is starting to feel more comfortable in the Blackhawks’ lineup, and he is optimistic that his ever-improving strength and feel for the game will help him get out of his scoring funk. [ESPN Chicago]

-Even though the Hawks may be known for how any goals they’ve been scoring this season, their defense’s ability to not only get the puck away from their opponents, but also to keep it for as long as they do, is really what sets them apart. [Chicago Tribune]

-“On the first day of Christmas the Blackhawks gave to me: Another championship ring.” Greg Boysen’s 12 Days of Blackhawks Christmas may not be the catchiest song ever written, but it’s still an excellent effort. [Second City Hockey]

-Jason Labarbera may be something of a hockey nomad, but when he found out that the Blackhawks had come calling for his services, he was incredibly excited. [Chicago Sun-Times]

-Finally, we wrap up Hawks Headlines with a couple of videos. The first was taken by David Banfield. You may not have heard of him, but he is a referee in the AHL, and the video is helmet cam footage he took during a recent Rockford IceHogs game. It’s incredible stuff:

-We also have the Blackhawks’ official Christmas video, whose theme is the Hawks players donning various movie character costumes:
