Chicago Blackhawks to Be Featured Tuesday on NBCSN Series

The episode, filmed last month, will air immediately following Hawks-Wild tilt

Chicago Blackhawks fans starving for more hockey coverage following Game 4 on Tuesday night between the Hawks and the Minnesota Wild will get a special treat on NBC Sports Network.

As we reported several weeks ago, the network filmed an episode of its popular “36” documentary series with members of the Blackhawks organization, and the finished product will air on NBCSN immediately following the Hawks game.

Here is a sneak peek of the episode, featuring Blackhawks assistant coach Jamie Kompon discussing the team's power play strategy:

The episode will also feature several Hawks players, including Andrew Shaw, who has come to the realization that "chicks dig scars":

The pilot episode of the series featured Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane, following him through an off-day in the city of Chicago and then through a gameday against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Other NHL players like Niklas Lidstrom and James Neal, as well as several IndyCar drivers, have been featured on the show, but Tuesday will mark the first time that an entire organization will be profiled on the program.
