Thousands of Blackhawks fans gather Friday at Hilton Chicago for the team’s annual convention.
The three-day event on South Michigan Ave. will give Hawks fans the opportunity to ask questions, interact with the players, and get items autographed.
Blackhawks President John McDonough will be front and center listening to all the fans critiques and answering question.
McDonough says that he's open to any question that fans may have and believes their critiques are vital to the organization’s success.
Members of the team’s hierarchy will also be answering questions and may have to explain to the fans why defenseman Sheldon Brookbank is the only player who has been added to the roster so far.
The 2012 version of the Hawks Convention sold out more than 10,000 passes for this event and will end Sunday.
