A DuPage County middle school plans to stay open despite having a probable case of swine flu.

The county health department recommended that Wood Dale Junior High continue to hold classes, according to a letter sent to parents, students and staff.  The health department said it made the call after consulting with district officials, but didn't explain further.

Meanwhile, 11 other area schools have closed temporarily because of probable swine flu cases.
