A Chicago postal worker arrested Wednesday for sexual assault and kidnapping is being investigated for his involvement in other attacks, police said Thursday.
Tommie Naylor, 41, of the 7900 block of South Yale Avenue is being investigated for connections to other attacks after being arrested Wednesday.
The Chicago Police fugitive apprehension unit arrested Naylor at his place of employment, the postal facility in Forest Park in the 7500 block of West Roosevelt Road.
Naylor has been charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of aggravated kidnapping in an attack that occurred in May 2006, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez told the Chicago Breaking News Center.
Cook County Criminal Court Judge Ramon Ocasio III ordered Naylor to be held without bail after a bond hearing Thursday afternoon.
Police News Affairs did not release any details about the 2006 attacks besides its location in the 7500 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating the possibility of Naylor’s involvement in other attacks similar to the May 2006 one, Perez said.
