Pizza Delivery Man Shot, 2 Pies Stolen

The 28-year-old pizza deliveryman was shot during a robbery in which the attackers took two pizzas Sunday night in the Southwest Side's West Elsdon neighborhood.

The victim was delivering the pizzas in the 5700 block of South Pulaski Road about 11:40 p.m. when he was lured into a gangway by a woman and shot by a black male gunman, according to police.

He suffered a graze wound to the face, dropped the two pizzas he was delivering and began running after he was shot, according to police, who said he was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.

    Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
