A person was struck by a Metra train Friday morning in northwest suburban Palatine.

Union Pacific Northwest Line train No. 606 was scheduled to arrive at Chicago’s Ogilvie Transportation Center at 7:02 a.m. but is stopped at 6:20 a.m. because of a “pedestrian incident,” according to Metra’s Web site. [Read More...]
